The 2025 edition of the Heroes Cycling Cup will take place in Kigali on January 18. The tournament is organized annually by local cycling governing body (Ferwacy) in collaboration with the Chancellery for Heroes, National Orders and Decorations of Honour (CHENO), serving as a special occasion to honour the heroes of Rwanda through cycling. The race will also help riders to prepare for the upcoming Tour du Rwanda 2025. Race categories Cyclists will compete in four categories namely men elites and U23, men juniors, women elites, and women juniors. Elite and U23 men: 20 laps (136km) Junior men and elite women: 15 laps (102km) U23 and junior women: 10 laps (68km) Itinerary National Heroes Mausoleum- Turn right to Amahoro Stadium-Gasabo District-RDB-DSTV- turn left to LODA-Question Coffee-Turn right to Cogebanque-Rwahama-Kimironko-Turn left to Engen Station-National Heroes Mausoleum.
