The African Nations Championship (CHAN) 2024 which was scheduled to take place in Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda from February 1-28 has been postponed to August, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced on Tuesday, January 14. CAF said, in a statement, that the host countries weren’t prepared enough to host the tournament although “good progress has been made,” with the construction and upgrading of stadiums, training fields, hotels, hospitals and other infrastructure and facilities put in place to host the tournament which is dedicated to only players from domestic leagues in their respective countries.
