Midfielder Kevin Muhire will miss Rayon Sports’ trip to Huye Stadium ahead of their crunch Rwanda Premier League encounter against Mukura VS on Saturday, January 11. Rayon lost their captain to an injury he picked during their 2-0 win over Police at Kigali Pele Stadium on January 4 and a recent medial report from club doctors indicated that he still needs time to recover. It’s big blow for Robertinho who admitted that he will have to do without one of his most important players as the club pushes to finish the first round of the league campaign on a good note. “We know Muhire is a key player for the Rayon Sports, but he's not available. He could not train with the club and he can’t play,” Robertinho told the press after Thursday’s training session at Nzove training ground. “It is a challenge for the team to lose such a key player; it is a very serious challenge for our team considering the way the league is progressing,” he added. He is the person who helps us to spread the message to his teammates. He is the one whom our game is built around but I believe that there are others who can take on those responsibilities, he said.
