Everything is set for the first mega Amapiano genre concert slated for Friday, November 4. The show, dubbed Amapiano To The World, takes place at '17th Avenue Popup Nightclub', the biggest club in Rwanda that was built in BK Arena, and the organisers have promised a well-planned show. Speaking at a presser held in Kigali this Thursday, Bandile who is a member of the famous Major League DJz said that returning to Rwanda means a lot to them than just music and Amapiano. “The last time we came here was 20 years ago to visit our dad. He worked and died in Rwanda, and that’s the reason we feel at home here. We are returning home and we are ready to deliver the best to our fans,” Bandile said. DR Aggrey Mbere, the twins' father, was South African envoy to Rwanda from 2000 to 2003. According to the duo, Amapiano is Africa’s dance music and they are ready to teach Rwandans how they party and dance back in South Africa. “We are looking up to see the energy and vibes in Kigali. For us, we party hard, and we wish to see the same crowd in Kigali,” said Banele, the other member of Major League, The twins also urged Rwandan musicians to always create content that represents the country and put culture in their sound for Rwandan music to grow like Amapiano. According to Brian Rugamba Karemera, Trade Marketing Manager at Bank Of Kigali, tickets for BK Arena Prepaid Card holders are on discount from Rwf30, 000 to Rwf20, 000. “The BK Arena Prepaid Card is part of the Bank’s grand strategy of aggressively reaching the youth. Anyone who owns the card will easily buy tickets on discount as well as getting other services offered in the Arena on discount,” Rugamba said during the presser. For Aaron Gaga, Deputy Venue Manager of QA Venue Solution which manages BK Arena, Amapiano to The World is the first among many other events to take place at the 17th Avenue popup nightclub built in BK Arena. He said that the club will be hosting different big artistes and DJs on the globe to make BK Arena home to the youth.
