APR FC have completed the signing of Ugandan pair of Hakim Kiwanuka and Denis Omedi on a two-year deal. The Rwandan champions officially announced their signings on Wednesday, January 8, hoping the duo can play a big part in their title chase ahead of the second round of the campaign. He shot into prominence in 2024 when his goal against KCCA in the quarterfinals of the Super 8 was nominated for the FIFA Puskas goal of the year award. Meanwhile, 24-year-old winger Kiwanuka also featured for Villa SC. He has played 13 games this season, scoring 5 goals and providing 3 assists in the process. APR are said to have paid $20,000 to sign Kiwanuka while the fee for Omedi remains undisclosed.
