AS Kigali had themselves to blame with Shaban Tshabalala Hussein and Emmanuel Okwi failing to convert their scoring chances. Etincelles were, were on the other side, dangerous as Moro and Sadjat Niyonkuru found spaces at the back of the AS Kigali defence on various occasions. Their final delivery, however, lacked the needed precision. With just a minute before the normal regulation time elapsed, substitute Niyonsenga broke AS Kigali’s hearts with a fine finish to send the Etincelles fans at the Stadium to a frenzy mood. The win has now moved Etincelles from to 13th place on the league table with 14 points from 15 games while AS Kigali remain in third place with 26 points.
