As Amagaju moves out of drop zone THE battle to stay in the top flight took a dramatic twist on Thursday when Amagaju grabbed a hard fought 1-0 win against Police to move out of the relegation zone. Striker Janvier Bigirimana scored the lone goal to take the club to 23 points and ensure that they moved a step up to 10th place. The team however needs to win their final tie against Kibuye to be sure of playing the likes of APR, Atraco and Rayon Sport next season. Kibuye are two points adrift of Amagaju after Thursday’s 5-0 hammering by Rayon Sport. With La Jeunesse already relegated, it is left to be seen who will go down amongst Electrogaz, Kiyovu, Amagaju and Kibuye. Ends
