Rayon Sports winger Aziz Bassane may leave the club during the January 2025 transfer window if his recruitment fee is not paid in full, Times Sport has learned. However, only $1,000 of the sign-on fee has been paid to the player so far. The situation has reportedly left Bassane and his management dissatisfied, and they are now considering terminating the contract and taking legal action by referring the case to FIFA, as all attempts to secure the remaining payment have been unsuccessful. Bassane’s camp has reportedly been in talks with Tanzanian clubs, including Singida Black Stars and Namungo FC, and he could make a move to Tanzania if his contract with Rayon Sports is annulled. Rayon Sports has had a strong start to the 2024/25 season, sitting at the top of the table with 33 points from 13 games. Bassane has been one of their standout performers, delivering impressive performances and scoring goals.
