The Executive of CAVB Zone V has announced Kampala, Uganda, as host city of the 2025 Zonal Club Championship. The annual event will be held from February 16 to 23 at Lugogo Indoor Stadium. ALSO READ: Volleyball: APR turn focus on CAVB Zone V championship This will be the first regional event after Uganda’s Sadik Nasiwu took over the reigns of the regional body from Rwanda’s Fernand Ruterana during the 2024 CAVB Congress in Morocco. “We received bids from Rwanda and Uganda. A decision was made to award it to Uganda,” said Nasiwu, the CAVB Zone V President. CAVB Zone V comprises 12 countries - Burundi, Djibouti, Egypt, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Tanzania, and Uganda.
