Ethiopian airlines awards best performing agencies

Ethiopian Airlines on Friday awarded the seven travel agencies according to the best performing ones. These seven agencies are legal agencies that accredited by the International Air Transport Association (IATA). According to Area Manager Ethiopian Airlines, Bruk Endeshaw, these awards are done on a annual basis and the purpose of giving them out is to extend our gratitude to this work done in the previous year. “Basically is to say thank you for their continued support they are giving us by selling our services to the public,” Endeshaw added. At the occasion, Certificates and cash were awarded according to the best performing agency. The Area Manager also urged the less performing agencies to work hard in order also to be given the best award the following year. Ethiopian Airlines was recently awarded as the best Airline 2009 in Africa. Also at the ceremony of awarding the best performing agencies, three raffle tickets were drown. One to Dubai and the two the winners will decide for themselves were to go. Ethiopian Airlines is one of the largest and fastest growing airlines in Africa, made its maiden flight to Cairo in 1946.
