CELEBRITY CENTRAL: NADSON Nadson whose real names are Rumanyika Naddy is a young Rwandan musician making headlines at the moment in the Rwandan music industry. His most famous songs include ‘One Way’ and ‘Pamela’. Nadson was born in Tanzania in 1985 where he grew up and studied primary school before moving back to Rwanda in 1994 and continuing his secondary school in Butare. Nadson made his debut on the local scene in 2008 with his hit single ‘One Way’ which enjoyed extensive air play on the local radio stations. After the hit, the soft spoken twenty three year old never looked back and went for the lime light. He has so far done six songs and promises by the end of the year he will have produced an album for his fans. Nadson is currently working on releasing a single with Sgt. Robert and promises that it will be a hit. He argues that Rwandans should support local music so that they can compete favourably with other musicians in the region.
