Rwanda international Maxime Wenssens is on trials at Dutch second tier club Roda JC Kerkrade as he hopes to secure a contract when winter transfer window opens in January 2025. Times Sport can reveal that the Amavubi shot stopper had his first training session with Roda on Monday, December 16, and will spend a month with the club. Wenssens , 23, previously also featured for Sint Truidense and KV Mechelen. He made his Amavubi debut in a 2-0 win over Madagascar in an international friendly on March 25, 2024. He trained with Anderlecht second team a week ago and was on the bench in their Premier League International Cup 3-1 defeat to Crystal Palace U21 before departing for the Netherlands.
