Rwanda cricket legend Eric Dusingizimana has called time on his career, at age 37. He announced his retirement from the sport on Friday, December 13 after an illustrious professional career which saw him holding the Guinness World Book of Records accolade for the longest individual net session, a feat he achieved in 2016 when he batted for 51 hours at Amahoro Stadium. Dusingizimana who is a civil engineer by profession was drafted into the national cricket team in 2008 and served as captain before retirement. As of November 2023, Dusingizimana had taken part in 54 matches in T20I competitions, with a Runs Score of 962, and a batting average of 18.86.
