MTN Rwanda has partnered with TECNO Mobile to launch an enticing holiday promo dubbed “Noheli Ishyushye” that offers customers the chance to enjoy exciting gifts when they purchase a Tecno smartphone. During the presser held at MTN’s Head Quarter in Nyarutarama, players said that the campaign will run from December 7 to January 4, 2025, and promises to add joy to the festive season through innovative offers and engaging activities. Under the slogan “Buy a TECNO Smartphone and Get Gifts”, this collaboration between the yellow family and the popular smartphone brand aims to enhance customer experiences while driving sales from the during the holiday season. However, it offers a dual-gift approach: immediate gifts upon purchase and additional rewards through a lucky draw system. According to Eddy Mucyo, TECNO’s Marketing Manager, buyers of TECNO, INFINIX, and ITEL selected smartphone models such as the Spark 30 Series, Pop, CAMON 30, and Phantom Series are eligible for immediate gifts including 15 GB of free data and 300 minutes of airtime, courtesy of MTN Rwanda. He noted: “Earphones for TECNO Camon and TECNO Spark buyers, Christmas boxes and water bottles for TECNO Pop buyers. All the above gifts combined for TECNO Phantom buyers. However, to automatically qualify for the promotion, the latter targets only customers registered with MTN’s 4G SIM cards.” Larger prizes, including motorcycles, refrigerators, travel bags, Christmas shopping vouchers worth Rwf200,000, and more, will be awarded through a lucky draw. “This ensures everyone has a chance to win something memorable this holiday season,” said Mucyo. ALSO READ: Meet the faces behind MTN Rwanda's expansion, modernisation To ensure maximum reach, the promotion will be supported by social media campaigns, and in-store activations. “We want to reach everyone, everywhere,” said Rene Nzabakira, Senior Manager for Devices and Digital Services at MTN Rwanda. “In addition, customers using MTN’s Mobile Money (MoMo) platform to buy airtime will receive a 20 per cent bonus, making the promotion even more rewarding.” Nzabakira noted that 2024 has been a remarkable year for MTN Rwanda, with customers actively engaging with the company’s offerings. “Ending the year with such a promotion is a way of appreciating our customers and strengthening our partnership as we look forward to a prosperous 2025,” he said. He added: “The holiday season is a time to reflect on family and show love through meaningful gestures.
