AMAVUBI Stars’ skipper Olivier Karekezi has been acknowledged for his contributions to his club and country over the past year. Goal.com named Karekezi on its long list of African players, who were outstanding for their countries during 2008. The 26-year-old with 44 caps for Rwanda played a key part in helping Amavubi reach the third and final qualifying round of the 2010 World/ Africa Nations Cup.
