Sulfo leagueRight Guards 72 all outKCC 74/1KCC won by nine wickets REEDY Gopal turned in a superb bowling performance as Kigali Cricket Club beat Right Guards by nine wickets in Sunday’s Sulfo league game played at Kicukiro. Right Guards, chasing for their first trophy since 2005 had no answer to Gopal’s slow medium as the former national team player returned figures of 5-0-19-5 to restrict Guards to 72 all out. Gopal received good support from Rizwan Pandor, who picked two wickets including the prize wicket of Guards skipper Emmanuel Byiringiro. Dennis Mukama (13) was one of two Guards batsmen in double figures. With such a low score to chase, KCC wasted no time in sailing home as Pandor smashed an unbeaten 31. The opening batsman’s knock included six boundaries. It was the second game of the league and left KCC top the table. Ends
