Sunday, November 24 Group C Rwanda 90-63 Gabon Center Osborn Shema scored 20 points and added 4 rebounds to help Rwanda beat Gabon 90-63 in the last game of Group C in the second window of the 2025 Afrobasket qualifiers that concluded in Dakar, Senegal, on Sunday night November 24. The victory brought Rwanda’s winless run to an end after losing the first two games of the qualifiers. They lost 58-81 to hosts Senegal on Friday, November 22, before Cameroon beat them 70-59 in the second match the following day. In the match that transpired at Dakar Arena, Rwanda started well by winning the first quarter 28-21 and second quarter 22-13 go into half-time leading 50-34. In the second half, both sides were level on 15-15 in the third quarter but Rwanda remained the dominant force in the last quarter which they claimed 25-14. On the Gabonese side, Rachez Missouma led the scoring with 10 points, while Warene Moundounga-Moumbeki added 9 points. Rwanda finished in third place with 4 points, two behind Group C leaders Senegal and 1 shy of second placed Cameroon. Gabon finished at the bottom of the group with 3 points after losing all three matches.
