AFTER watching his team romp to the top of Group A in the second division league, Musanze coach Rafiki Nshiyimana reckons that the team deserves to play top flight football next season. With three games to go, the Northern-Province based club holds a massive eleven point cushion over their closest challengers Military and is already assured of a play-off spot. “The team deserves a lot of applauds for the way it has played. I know that the journey is still on but come on’ give credit where it’s due’,” he said. The top two sides in Group A and B will face-off in the playoffs where the winners in the team games will be promoted into the first division. Nshiyimana has also revealed that he has no plans of revamping his squad should they get promoted. “I have great confidence in this group of players and I will stick to them should we join the top division,” he affirmed.
