Mukandayisenga has been in Tanzania for several days, participating in trials with Yanga Princess, the women’s team of Yanga Africans. Sources reveal that the only remaining step is for the two clubs to agree on the terms of the deal. Speaking to Times Sport’s Alexis Kayinamura, Rayon Sports WFC Secretary General Bennie Kana Axella confirmed the development. “It’s true that Jeannine Mukandayisenga is undergoing trials at Yanga Princess, but we are yet to receive an official bid from their side,” she said. Unconfirmed reports suggest that Yanga initially offered $3,000 for the transfer, while Rayon Sports is demanding $5,000. Kana dismissed the rumors, saying, “We have not received any formal communication regarding an offer. Once we do, we’ll assess it and decide in the best interest of the player and the club.” KaBoy is one of the standout players in Rwanda’s Women’s Premier League this season, having scored 13 goals in just seven matches. She joined Rayon Sports WFC for the 2023-2024 season from Gicumbi-based club Inyemera WFC. Her arrival significantly boosted Rayon Sports WFC, helping them secure both the league title and the Peace Cup. She also finished the season as the league’s top scorer.
