Editor, I really thank the Kigali city council for the efforts they have shown in trying to make our city a superb one. They introduced a master plan for our city to look beautiful to both visitors and natives. It stopped people building new buildings before the Master Plan was commenced which was a good action and one I really appreciated. But my concern now is that some renovating houses that should be razed to the ground- and to make matters worse, this is going on right in the middle of town. I’m sorry to mention this but a small house near Bank Populaire headquarters, is an eye sore. I don’t know whether this person has the authorisation to renovate from Kigali city or whether they are waiting for him to finish and then demolish it, like we normally see on our Rwanda television.
