A day in the life of.... Bank accounts officer

Justus Mugaruka is the account officer in Eco-Bank KBC branch. He therefore handles a number of clients with various demands. This includes those who would like to access loans from the bank among other duties. Below, he shares with you his typical working day: I wake up at 7a.m, have a shower, dress up and drive to work from Kimironko. By 8a.m, I must be in office. The first part of my work is to finish up with files that were not completed if any and submit them to the next office. I then move out to go in the field in search for market, which is part of my work. By mid day, I am back in office to deal with what is on my desk. I normally have lunch at the work place, at about 1p.m I continue with work until 6p.m which is the official closing time, but sometimes I work beyond that time. By 9p.m, I must be home after meeting some friends after work. I have supper at home and the latest I go to bed is 10p.m Email:mugoyag@yahoo.com
