The Rwanda Football Association (FERWAFA), has extended the registration period for the 2024/25 Peace Cup to November 12. Registration closed on November 5 but the federation decided to extend the process after a number of clubs missed out on the opportunity before deadline. The likes of Peace Cup 2023 winners Rayon Sports, Kiyovu Sports, Amagaju FC, Etincelles FC, Police FC and Gorilla FC were not among the teams registered to play at the 2024/25 Peace Cup. “Yes we have extended the registration deadline so that we can have as many teams as possible while it is also for the sake of making the Peace Cup more competitive,” Ferwafa Secretary-General Adolphe Kalisa told Times Sport.
