Rwandan top tier newcomers Vision FC have named experienced gaffer Abdul Mbarushimana as their new head coach. Mbarushimana replaces British tactician Calum Shaun Selby who was relieved of his duties on Friday, October 25, due to a string of poor results. He will handle the team for the remainder of the season after which a decision on extending his deal will be considered based on his performance. The veteran coach was at the helm of affairs at AS Muhanga during the 2023/24 season where he propelled them to the promotion playoffs. He also previously served as assistant coach at Rayon Sports and Police FC. His first assignment will be on Thursday, November 7, when Vision FC face take on APR FC.
