Rwandan music is increasingly making strides on regional charts, with local artistes not hesitating to drop back-to-back smash hits which are giving the audience no choice but to listen to them. From Mulix's new Afrobeat track 'Luza' to Kina Beats' collaboration with Logan Joe 'Nyereka,' The New Times rounds up the best new songs of the week. Nyereka - Kina Beat ft. Logan Joe Kina Beat, one of the pioneers of the Drill genre in Rwanda, recently teamed up with Logan Joe on his new song ‘Nyereka.’ They dropped together ‘Tricky’ which had gone on to become one of the best songs of 2021 and there is no doubt that ‘Nyereka’ will also make it to the mainstream. The song is available on all major streaming platforms. Nduwawe – Yee Fanta Producer and singer, Yee Fanta, is poised to make a remarkable impact in the music industry with back-to-back hits. He has now released his first gospel song 'Nduwawe' which premiered on 31 October as he looks to add his gospel music community to his fan base. Produced and mastered by Punja Mix and Muriro, Nduwawe is an Afrobeats production which promises to shake things up in town. Luza - Mulix Félix Mugisha, aka Mulix has released a new Afrobeat song dubbed 'Luza,' one of the latest productions of producer Prince Kiiiz, arguably one of the best producers in Rwanda. ‘Luza’ follows Mulix's debut track 'By My Side' which premiered on 9 February. The artiste, who younger brother of former Dream Boyz boy band member TMC, is currently based in the US, where he relocated in 2018. Katira - Ariel Wayz ft. Butera Knowles Two of Rwanda's finest female artists, Ariel Wayz and Butera Knowles, recently teamed up to produce their first collabo titled ‘Katira.’ Produced at Kina music records by studio boss Clement Ishimwe, ‘Katira’ and is already garnering rounds of clicks from all major streaming platforms. Ntaribi - Kenny K-shot ft. Kivumbi King, Pro Zed As expected, Kenny K-shot's new album ‘Intare 2,’ which was released on October 25, is a masterpiece featuring some of Rwanda's finest artistes including Kivumbi King. The fifth track on the album ‘Ntaribi,’ is already topping the charts and winning the hearts of many music lovers across the country given the vibe that producer Pro Zed and Kivumbi King brought to the track. Produced by Ehlers and Pro Zed, Ntaribi is available on all major streaming platforms.
