The national basketball team, on Friday, November 1, reported for a training camp to prepare for the upcoming Afrobasket 2025 qualifiers. The qualifier games are scheduled for November 22-24 in Dakar, Senegal. Rwanda is pooled in Group C with Senegal, Cameroon, and Gabon. Currently the team is camping at Cenetra Hotel and will be conducting their daily training sessions at Petit Stade under the instruction of head coach Cheikh Sarr, his first assistant Yves Murenzi and second assistant Kenny Gasana.
