It was a good weekend for Rwandan players abroad as a number of them continued to make their mark at their respective clubs. Defender Phanuel Kavita, who is of Rwandan and Congolese parentage played full time for Birmingham Legion who thrashed Oakland Roots 5-0. In the third tier league, Marumo Gallants target Innocent Nshuti came in for Kempes Tekiela in the 62nd minute as his club One Knoxville FC drew 0-0 with Spokane Velocity FC. Tunisia Defensive midfielder Bonheur Mugisha played the entire game and found the back of the net in the 70th minute as his team Stade Tunisien beat Gabes 2-1 in the Ligue 1 on Sunday, October 28. Mugisha’s former teammate at APR FC, Anicet Ishimwe, was not in the match day squad of Tunisian Ligue 1 leaders Olympique Beja who drew 1-1 with Club Africain.
