In no particular order, Weekender highlights some of the best new songs to add to your weekend playlist. Kloza, Confy The fast rising artiste is back on charts after releasing his recent banger ‘Kloza’. The single track followed Confy’s successful EP ‘1MIN’ which had hit songs like ‘Inside, ‘Put It In’ among others. Premiered last week, the song has close to 100, 000 streams on different platforms and making rounds on different local airwaves and televisions. ‘Kloza’ was produced by loader and Bob producer alongside video directors such as Faveways. NOBADI, Seyn A new artiste on the block has been releasing back to back hits and last week he added another track Dubbed ‘NOBADI’ on charts of Kigali. ‘NOBADI’ is produced in a new wave of sounds coming from only the young generation in the music industry. Having a touch of X on The Beat, one of the best producers in Rwanda, is one of the reasons making it a banger in town. It has close to 80, 000 streams on different platforms in its first week and has already secured a place on the playlist of most loved radio stations in the country. Faithful, Shaffy After winning hearts of Rwandan music lovers with the release of ‘Akabanga’ and ‘Sukuma’, US based Rwandan artiste is back and has already gave his lovers a new tune. Dubbed ‘Faithful’, the new song came as a surprise and its numbers are getting high day by day. The love song premiered on October 21, and has managed to get over 50, 000 views on YouTube. It was produced and mastered by Shaffy’s longtime collaborator, Lick Lick. Ihoho, Juno Kizigenza After spending months without releasing new songs, Juno Kizigenza is back with a new track dubbed ‘Ihoho’. The new song was highly waited by his fans who saw a snippet on social media platforms of the song trending. It premiered on October 25, and has over 100, 000 views on YouTube within two days. ‘Ihoho’ is produced in a fusion of Afrobeats and Amapiano which is commonly known as Afropiano. It was produced by Element Pro and Bob, the best music producers in Rwanda. Soo, Yuhi Mic Francis Forongo, popularly known as Yuhi Mic, is not one to miss out. When they drop. His latest single dubbed ‘Soo’ has already won the attention and admiration of many music lovers. The single follows his maiden extended playlist (EP) dubbed ‘Nizozabo’, a collection of summer anthems. The new track is a produced in Afropop with additional saxophone sounds that makes it sound like ‘Call Me Every day’ by WizKid and Chris Brown. It was produced and mastered by Kenny Pro Beats, one of the best afro beat makers in Rwanda that works with a number of young musicians on the rise.
