The Rwandan derby between arch rivals Rayon Sports and APR FC which was due on October 19 has been rescheduled for the second time, the league board announced on Thursday. The epic clash, together with all match day 6 fixtures pushed to a yet to be determined date to spare time for Rwanda coach Frank Spittler to prepare his team for the 2025 CHAN preliminary round match against Djibouti. The first leg match will take place in Djibouti City on October 25-27. ALSO READ: APR-Rayon settle for draw in first match at renovated Amahoro stadium The derby between the two cross-town rivals was initially scheduled for September14, but it was rescheduled to October 19 to allow APR FC to concentrate on their CAF Champions League second round match against Tanzanian outfit Azam FC. The army side have played just one league game this season out of a possible five where they were held by crisis-hit Etincelles to goalless draw in Rubavu on September 29.
