Editor, I am one of the few people who are very happy for Pastor Simon Gatsinzi the 85 year old man who found his rib last Saturday. He walked 45 year old Grace Rwagitare down the aisle proudly to my amazement. Personally I think it is absolutely fine for every person to marry at any age and given Gatsinzi’s age, he had to find a much younger wife for obvious reasons. I am strongly against some of the people I have heard castigating the pastor for this good deed, reason being, they say he is too ‘old’ to get married. Give the man a break and let him be, who determines the age limit for marriage? Marriage is an agreement between any given man and woman. So due to this fact, public scrutiny in regard to what is a right or wrong choice should never surface. After all the pastor’s children are happy with their father’s brave act. So pastor, you are my hero and I am fully behind you and encourage all the so called old people to emulate Gatsinzi in case they want to marry. Bravo pastor Kimihurura
