The U-20 national football team (Junior Wasps) has flown out to Tanzania to take part in the CECAFA U-20 tournament that serves as a qualifier competition for the 2025 U-20 African nations cup. The 20-man squad jetted out on Thursday, October 4 and has already arrived in Dar es Salaam, where it will compete with various countries in the region at the tournament that gets underway on October 6. Ahead of their opening match against Sudan on October 8, they will engage in a three-day training camp in Tanzania. Their next group stage matches will be against Kenya on October 10 and Tanzania on October 13.
