I thank the National Police of Rwanda for a great work they did over the weekend. They arrested a number of thieves with had allegedly stolen items such as laptops that are worth lots of big sums of money. We welcome such arrests and advocate for more vigorous actions. Many Rwandans and foreigners have been troubled by the cliques of young men who roam along the streets of Kigali city.I personally had feared to travel with my Laptop or even large sums of money because I feared I might fall into the hands of these thugs.Worse still, late in the evening when people are going back home trying to board highly competitive taxis, one can see a group of young men trying to squeeze their hands into the bags of passengers, and indeed some have lost telephones and money. With the arrest of these people, I believe that we are going to have some breathing space.Kabeza
