Application of EAC Customs Union- a dream come true

As we draw closer to July, a time when our country will officially implement the East Africa Community Customs Union, the concerned organizations like Rwanda Revenue Authority have started sensitization campaigns to prepare Rwandans for this outstanding development. For sure, this development has been a long awaited dream. Considering that the advantages out weigh disadvantages a lot will sprout from this venture and as such, Rwandans should welcome this opportunity with open arms. A time has come when all citizens in the partner states will think beyond ethnic and national identities towards a much bigger citizenship leading to a smooth globalization.
