Nigerian musician Kizz Daniel and Rwandan artistes, Bruce Melodie, Ariel Wayz and Kivumbi, among others gave Kigalians an unforgettable performances last night at Canal Olympia, Rebero. Hosted by Mcees Anitha Pendo, Tino and Lynda Ddane, the show kicked off around 9:10pm with a surprise performance by Sky 2 who warmed up revelers who had attended the festival for a fun filled experience. He was followed by fast rising artistes Momo Lava and France. They both gave revelers great performance and proved their skills on stage. Singer France with an outstanding voice uniquely proved that she is an amazing live performer while performing some of her songs. Kivumbi accompanied by Logan Joe had the whole crowd vibing to their music. Kivumbi owned the stage while performing his now trending songs on his new album like ‘salute’ and ‘sweet love’. The two performed their song ‘whatever’ while the crowd sang along in excitement. Welcomed on stage, Ariel Wayz made every minute of her performance fun and enjoyable for her fans who were grooving along with her. Performing all her hit songs the music sensation thrilled fans during her entire time on stage like she always does. Rwanda’s hit maker Bruce Melodie with great energy and charisma got everyone off their feet during his performance. He got the audiences hands in air while performing his hit ‘henzapu’ as they jumped and sang along. With so many hits like ‘Akinyuma’, ‘ikinya’, ‘katapila’ and ‘Saa moya’ among many others, it was a memorable night for revelers who witnessed his whole performance. The highly anticipated performance of Kizz Daniel finally kicked off at 1am and the crowd couldn’t keep calm. Clad in a red t shirt, khaki loose pants and dark shades, Kizz was welcomed on stage by Anitha and Ddane as the last performer and headliner of the show. Revelers couldn’t hide how much they missed his performance since he last performed in Kigali in 2014. The Buga hit maker gave the crowd the best times as he performed hit songs like ‘no do’, ‘no wahala’, ‘Woju’, ‘One Ticket’, ‘Pak n Go’ and ‘pour me water’ among others. Things took a turn when the singer got to perform ‘Buga ‘. He got rid of his shoes and socks before performing his massive hit. He perfectly performed this hit while dancing to its famous choreography and that had the crowed enjoying and dancing to it. During the festival Nigerian artistes like Faith, Gais Baba and Kolade Bless, who has recently performed at different concerts in Rwanda gave great performances. Unfortunately Niyo Bosco didn’t perform although he was at the concert’s venue. The festival ended at 01:51am.
