Rwandan renowned artiste Patrick Nyamitari who has been in Nairobi for over five years is back with a gospel live concert dubbed “Back to Live” The concert brings together gospel artistes, among them Aline Gahongayire and the Rwanda Catholique all-star. The live show will take place on Sunday August 14, at Great Hotel Kiyovu, in celebration of the Assumption Day. It will feature both gospel and secular music with DELEEX The DJ. This was organized by PNG together with Umushanana records. Nyamitali said that Back to live means back to the stage as a live music performer. I’m about to deliver a sweet and powerful music performance to my fans, he said. There will be different genres of music, my gospel music they always knew, as well as some of my secular songs, he added. The artiste who has been in Nairobi working on his music came back again in new colors to give out the best to the fans of his music. Since his breakthrough, Nyamitari has been labelled one of Rwanda’s best artistes following hit singles like ‘Ur’Imana,’ ‘Niwe Messiya’, ‘Nyirakidederi,’ ‘Umulisa’, and many others he produced after going secular. Nyamitari has also been part of different singing competitions like the sixth season of Tusker Project Fame. He has been off the limelight for over five years but now comes back with a new album, L.O.V.E. The new album name was inspired by the plans he had early this year, to make a strong comeback during summer time, a period he believes that many, including lovers, get time to have fun as well as explore good music. This album is set to be out towards the end of this month as disclosed by the management.
