She’s the daughter of one of our former pharmacists, Alexis Kabagire. He has been at KIPHARMA for many years, so it’s a welcome back for Christelle and her family,” he said. According to Davite, the success of Bio Oil in Rwanda is very good because KIPHARMA has for the past two years been among the top five Bio Oil distributors in the world having the best increase in terms of percentage. Bio-Oil has been Kabagire’s favourite skincare oil, especially during and after her pregnancy. And Bio-Oil product had a big positive impact on her skin that made her recommend it to any people who are looking for skin solutions. “I remember I have been using Bio Oil when I was pregnant and, when I gave birth, I quickly got back to my normal size,” Kabagire recalls. She said some YouTubers would ask her how she managed to keep her body and why she didn’t have stretch marks a few days after giving birth. A host of celebrities joined Kabagire to celebrate shortly after she was announced as Bio Oil Brand Ambassador “I told them that I tried Bio-Oil and it worked for me. It really did wonders for me because I never got any stretch marks and the good part is that my belly didn’t darken,” she said. After the interview on YouTube, Kabagire received a number of feedback from people who were asking her how she made it to keep her body free of scars and stretch marks. “I just told them that I used Bio-Oil. I was indirectly advertising it and here I am the brand ambassador. It’s quite an honour and I am very excited to join the Bio Oil family as I look forward to encouraging people to use this specific body lotion,” she said. Bio-Oil is distributed in 135 countries worldwide with KIPHARMA as the official representative in Rwanda. According to Regine Uwitonze, the Bio-Oil Sales and Marketing representative, Bio-Oil has three different categories including skincare oil which is used to heal scars, uneven skin, and stretch marks. There is also Bio-Oil dry skin Gel which is used by people with dry skin to smoothen their skin while Body Lotion Bio-Oil is new to the Rwandan market. “We will be telling you more about it but I promise you will love it,” Uwitonze said.
