Saturday July 30 Rwanda Vs South Africa 5pm Rwanda will start its campaign at the Commonwealth games on Saturday when the men’s national beach volleyball team take on South Africa at 5pm local time in Birmingham, United Kingdom. “Our target is to win the first game and then build on that momentum for the next match,” Christopher Mudahinyuka, the head coach of the team said. Rwanda is in Group B along with Australia, South Africa and Maldives. After South Africa, Rwanda will take on Maldives on August 1 and wrap up the Group games with a clash against Australia on August 3. The quarter finals will be played on Friday 5 August and the semi-finals will be played on Saturday August 6. Both bronze and gold medal matches will be held on August 7. The competition comprises thirteen teams split into three groups: Groups Group A: Canada, Gambia, Saint Kitts, Nevis and Sri Lanka Group B: Australia, Rwanda, South Africa and Maldives Group C: England, New Zealand, Cyprus and Tuvalu.
