Rwanda Human Resources Management Organization (RHRMO) and USC Media last week signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate in Rwanda Inter-company Relays event that was launched two weeks ago by SMARK and Jabalee sports agency. The MoU will pave way for joint efforts in creating sports team building properties starting with the maiden edition of Rwanda Inter-Company Relays 2022 slated to take place on 15 August 2022 at Bugesera Stadium in Nyamata town. Inter-Company Relays 2022 targets companies, organisations and institutions, according to a press statement from RHRMO. “We would like to thank SMARK and Jabalee for this great idea and initiative. It is in line with our mission as an association of human resources professionals. Having such a platform where different employees from different companies, organizations and institutions come to network, share experiences and compete while having fun is among the best way of catering to their well-being and team building,” Steven Karangwa, Chairman RHRMO said after the MoU signing ceremony. He added: “We loved the theme “Fit for Business” and the fact that among the relays categories there is even a CEOs 100M race and this will boost the morale of the teams that will be presenting their companies in the relays,” Karangwa added, while calling upon companies to not miss opportunity. According to SMARK and Jaballe they have written to 100 companies, organisations and institutions requesting them to participate in the maiden edition of Rwanda Inter-Company Relays. The target is to have over 30 corporate companies participating and as of today, they have over 10 registered. Jabalee said adding that there also corporate companies interested in sponsoring the event. Rwanda Human Management Organisation is an HR association that was established in 2012 with the aim of enhancing the human resources management profession in Rwanda. Human resources constitute the most important factor of production for any organization and therefore we chose to focus on improving the human resources skills and practices. Registration for participation is ongoing and will end on July 31 2022.
