Stars turned up for the Thanksgiving Prayer Breakfast organised by Rwanda Leaders Fellowship (RLF) on Sunday, September 15, at Kigali Convention Centre (KCC) to celebrate successful and peaceful elections, as well as the achievements the country has registered over the past 30 years. The event, graced by President Paul Kagame and First Lady Jeannette Kagame, was also attended by local celebrities, including artistes and creatives, who are invited to join government leaders, representatives of faith-based organisations, civil society and private sector. ALSO READ: Prayer breakfast: Kagame cautions against religious extremism RFL hosts national breakfast annually, where representatives of different sectors are invited, most times alternating those who are invited to make it all-inclusive. Some of the local stars and creatives who attended Sunday’s Prayer Breakfast include singer Nel Ngabo and his producer and manager Clement Ishimwe of Kina Music, veteran singer Dr. Claude, real name Jean Claude Iyamuremye, who was in company with Rwanda Broadcasting Agency (RBA) presenter Luckman Nzeyimana. Also in attendance of the high-level breakfast was the female Deejay duo of Sonia and Ira, who swapped the turntable with the bible, joining other invited guests in the thanksgiving event which was also attended by former Miss Rwanda 2016 Jolly Mutesi. Others present at the function include gospel singer and businesswoman Tonzi and creatives such as Malik Shaffy Lizinde, Christian Intwari, the founder of Our Past Initiative, and many others who turned up to praise the Lord for a good year it is for the country so far. Content creators, social media influencers and members of the media were also not left out for the event which was characterised by praise and worship sessions as well as a sermon which was delivered by Pastor Lambert Bariho.
