Free agent Kevin Muhire has dismissed reports linking him with a move to Police FC with the midfielder’s next destination still up in the air. The Rwanda international’s one-year deal with Rayon Sports expired in June and there were reports indicating that he is close to reaching an agreement with Police to replace Muhajiri Hakizimana who recently signed for Saudi Arabian side Al Kholood. However, the 24-year-old described the reports as ‘fake’ news despite the fact that head coach Vincent Mashami reportedly wants a reunion with the talisman at his new side Police. Times Sport understands that Rayon Sports are monitoring the possibility of renewing Muhire’s contract for season but no agreement has been reached yet with the midfielder reportedly considering a move elsewhere. The former Blues skipper is said to be unhappy with the club’s transfers so far and is delaying to put pen to paper as he waits for the club to make more signings ahead of next season.
