The number of comedians has increased over the years and many young new talents have grabbed people’s attention. But who are the ones trending now? Here are some comedians, in no particular order, guaranteed to give you a good laugh: Patrick Rusine Rusine is one the most popular comedians today. This young talent has proven his skills since his videos started circulating on the internet. He is famously known for his role in ‘Umuturanyi’ alongside Clapton Kibonke. Rusine has proved that he is not just a YouTube comedian during the ‘Seka Live’ shows as he always leaves the audience laughing. He is expected to perform at the next ‘Seka Live’ this July. Rufonsina The actress, born Sandrine Uwimpundu, made a name for herself thanks to her language known as ‘ikigoyi’, and since then comedy lovers have been looking forward to more of what she can offer. She has been struggling to make a name for herself in the film industry for a long time and recently, she finally grabbed people and filmmakers’ attention. Clapton Kibonke Real name Clapton Mugisha, Kibonke has been in the industry for quite some time and it is amazing to see how much he has accomplished. He was first seen in a TV show alongside another comedian named Ramdjan who later quit. Little did we know it was just the beginning for Kibonke. He is now trending in his comedy show dubbed ‘Umuturanyi’ available on his YouTube channel. Gentil YouTube and other platforms have made it easy for new talents to shine and get exposure. This has been the case for fast-rising comedian Gentil, known for his unique show that can be found on Bros Entertainment on YouTube. This young talent caught people’s attention in a comedy show where he acts how different celebrities would react on judgement day. Zuby Comedy The duo made of Seka Nshizirungu and Samson Mucyo, commonly known as Seth and Samu, are among the few comedians who headline big comedy festivals in Rwanda as their talent continues to shine. They have gained many fans from their different shows on their YouTube channel. The two recently headlined a concert in Kenya that was a success, going by how many revellers attended the concert.
