Kigali Titans head coach Cyrille Kalima has challenged his team to stay focused ahead of game 2 of the semi-finals playoffs of the second division. Over the weekend, the Titans beat Flame 81-44 in game 1 of the best-of-three semifinals to increase their chances of making it to the finals and qualifying for the topflight. Game 2 takes place on Saturday July 16 and Kalima told Times Sport that though he is happy with his team’s performances so far, there is still a lot of work to do. “I am happy that we won all our games in the league, but there is still a lot of work to do. We need to stay focused,” he said. “We can do better and that’s what I expect from my players in semi-finals playoffs, because we want to win the league title,” he added In other games, Orion won game 1 of the semis as well after beating Intare 77-52 on Sunday at Club Rafiki. The semi-finals are being played in a best-of-three format until July 17. The finals will be played on the weekend of July 22-24. A total of 17 teams from across the country took part in the inaugural lower division league, vying for the two promotion slots into the 2022/23 topflight league.
