RAYON SPORTS head coach Francis Christian Haringingo has promised club fans that he will build a competitive team that will challenge for trophies next season. The Blues failed to win any silverware last season and finished in fourth place in the league, something that the club management and fans want the new coach to change. “I believe we will be better next season. Hopefully, I will be able to field my strongest team because I expect to prepare a strong team which can win the league title,” Haringingo said in an interview. He added that their philosophy will be to play good attacking football, which the fans want to see their team do. He noted, “As coach, I know Rayon Sport can win the title and we want to play attacking football, it is a massive club, which has history so we want to be part of this history.” Rayon Sports have signed eight new players including Felix Ndekwe from AS Kigali. The others are; Arsene Tuyisenge, Raphael Osalue, Didier Junior Mucyo and Elie Ganijuru from Bugesera, Jean de Dieu Hirwa from Marine, Eric Ngendahimana from SC Kiyovu and Hadji Iraguha from Rutsiro. The Blues have not won the league title since 2019.
