Afro Beat sensation, Davis D, gave the Rwandan community in Brussels-Belgium a taste of his new wave of sound taking over in Rwanda, during the first concert of Afro Killa Europe tour. The first concert held last Saturday, at Proximos Lounge Brussels was highly attended by Rwandans and Burundians living in the city. Davis D alongside top DJs like Princess Flor and Lex, put up one of the best parties that will go down in the history of the Rwandan diaspora in Brussels, revellers say. It was the first time that the Dede hit maker performed in Europe and he did not let partygoers down. After the concert, Shine Boy as he calls himself, told The New Times that Rwandan music is making rounds in Europe and people there love his music as much as Rwandans back home. “There is love for our music everywhere on this continent. The DJs play our songs, clubs are familiar with our sound and people know the lyrics word to word. It’s crazy love for Rwandan music here!” he said. The artiste who has a new banger titled Big love trending in Rwanda also unveiled plans to perform in four more cities of Europe including Lyon of France, Deutschland in Germany, among others. Davis D is taking his sound to Europe after successfully introducing the Afro Beat genre in Rwanda through his sound. Since the release of Biryogo which made him breakthrough in the Rwandan music industry, the young singer made a number of hits like Micro, Dede, Ifarashi, Itara and many others which are still driving the party life of Kigali. After the Europe tour, Davis D is scheduled to tour US and Canada at the end of 2022.
