On the occasion of celebrating the 28th anniversary of Rwanda’s Liberation, the Embassy of the State of Israel in Rwanda is pleased to wish all Rwandans a happy and joyful Liberation Day. In just 28 years after one of the world’s tragic events– the 1994 Genocide Against the Tutsi – Rwanda serves as a model of what a transformed country looks like. We salute the selflessness, resilience, commitment and unity of Rwandans, and the good leadership of this country that made this remarkable transformation possible.
