Inshuti, one of the organisers of the tour, told The New Times that, the tourism trail tour encompasses of phases 1 and 2 combined. “The journey will start from Kigali and end at Silent Hill Hotel located in Kayonza District. We will visit different places including Tabagwe-Gishuro-Kaborogota-Gikoba-Shonga (the key terrain)-Kabuga and lastly to Karama, “she said. During the trail, Inshuti added that they will learn more about the ‘the Agasanimetero’ through story-telling with Medard Bashana, an expert of the liberation trail. This is a fun story and even though most people hear about ‘Agasanimetero’ they don’t really know what it means and where it came from in the first place. On the night of July 2, we will as well have different traditional artistes entertaining people with liberation songs.” To participate, an individual is required to pay Rwf100,000, while a couple has to part with Rwf160,000 for the trail. The fee will cover transport, lunch, dinner, hotel room and a ticket to ‘Igitaramo cyo Kwibohora’. The attendees will spend the night at the hotel.
