Editor, I would like to commend the government for organising civic education for different categories of people. This programme will help influence positive change in the minds of Rwandans. My suggestion is that such programmes ought to be started in schools. Children will then grow with positive influences before being spoilt by elders, some of whom are their parents. If these sessions were taught by previous leaders perhaps we could not have had the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. Gisenyi
