Effective June 2022, GVA Rwanda, a subsidiary of Group Vivendi Africa, has launched a limited promotion to offer free installation including router, for new subscribers to their CanalBox home fibre internet. Launched in Kigali city and Rubavu district, the offer will be valid to new subscribers to boost easy access to fast, unlimited fibre internet, particularly those who in areas that have recently been connected to CanalBox’s fibre network. This comes right off the back of the official launch of CanalBox in Rubavu district in May 2022, that was graced by several dignitaries including the Minister of ICT and innovation, Paula Ingabire, and the French Ambassador to Rwanda, Antoine Anfré. “What drives us is to positively impact Rwandans lives by connecting them to our fast, unlimited Fibre internet at an affordable price, said Julius Kayoboke, GVA Rwanda CEO, during the Rubavu launch event. The offer is valid for the CanalBox fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) “Start” package of 10MB/s unlimited internet at RWF 25,000 per month, and the “Premium” package of 50MB/s unlimited internet at RWF 40,000 per month.
