The Dutchman made his mind known in the wake of his team’s narrow 1-0 win over Amagaju in the quarter-final first leg of the MTN Peace Cup played on Tuesday in Nyamagabe, Southern Province. He told said that though his team won the game, he thinks the score line and overall display would have been quite different had the playing ground been better. “I don’t want to comment on the way we played but it was the worst of my reign as head coach due to the very poor nature of the playing ground. “It was a rainy day and the stadium was very muddy, nothing like football was played. Our players worked very hard for the victory and credit to them for giving their best under very difficult conditions,” Paske told Times Sport. But he expects an easy win in Kigali in the second leg. The defending champions are on the verge of reaching the money-spilling round of this year’s competition. A late strike from the France-bound striker Elias Uzamukunda, who recently signed a two-year professional deal with the Ligue 1 club, Nantes, scored the only goal of the match. In the other match played on Tuesday, Mukura hit Kiyovu 3-0 to put themselves in a very comfortable position going into the second leg.
