Once upon time, there was a man called Kintu. He had two cows, two goats and two sheep. Although Kintu was a poor man, he was a kind person, and he was especially very kind to young children. One morning Kintu woke up and found a messenger who had been sent by the King. The messenger told Kintu that the King wanted to see him. When he reached the King’s home at the Palace the king asked him whether he would serve in his kingdom. Kintu agreed, and started serving in the king’s palace. After sometime, the king gave him a big piece of land, and many cows, as a way of thanking him for serving his people so well. Kintu became rich, and the people within the village where he lived also became happy, because he always helped his neigbhours. Since he was doing his work nicely, the King then promoted Kintu to a chief. This time he was a big man, and most villagers started respecting him, because he was no longer poor, instead he had worked hard and become successful. Ends
