Rwandan second tier league side Gicumbi FC will play their home matches at Mumena Stadium in Kigali throughout the 2024/25 season. The club’s original home ground in Gicumbi District is undergoing renovation and the top hierarchy of the club have moved their home to Kigali. Gicumbi got relegated from the top tier league at the end of the 2022/23 season and will be hoping to a return this season. ALSO READ: Gicumbi FC’s topflight promotion hopes in danger amid financial crisis They have already acquired some seasonal players who are versed in the Division 2 league including guardsman Jean D'Amour Nzayisenga from Sunrise FC, Jean Pierre Rubuguza from Gorilla FC and Olivier Nshimiyimana from Vision FC. Gicumbi were drawn in Zone B of the 2024/25 second division league which commences on September 25.
